Title: Feeling depressed about the state of humanity?
Post by: shock on Saturday, December 15, 2007, 03:54:18 PM
 Read : http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/tus/487665904.html

I was actually looking through the 'Best of Craigslist' for random, funny postings and came across this one.  Can't help but make you smile. :)

Is that supposed to make me more or less depressed about humanity? I'm having trouble deciding.

Yes, I'm heartless.

You really are.

I smiled (at the story and also at idol's rather predictable response to it).

I'm just surprised theres a book called "When a pet dies." Like you really need a book to explain the situation to your kid.

It's only negative if you don't like masturbating to eyebrow salad.

I half hope that was a real request, just because I like the idea of a guy getting a job at a museum for the sole purpose of stealing priceless artifacts for his sexual perversion. Thats devotion.

I think the Post Office actually has rules for what to do when they get letters addressed to fictional people and addresses. They have to have rules - think of how many letters they get "to Santa" every year.

I guess they also have a procedure in place for when a kid writes to God asking about a dead pet.

When I think of it this way, the story sounds really macabre and depressing.
