Yes indeed. I hope you all have a blessed Christmas that reminds you of all the things you have to be thankful for. I'm sure most of your lists are as big as mine. It's been one hell of a year, but one filled with blessings despite the problems.

Merry Christmas everyone. Just posting from my new iPod touch. It was completley unexpected and is completely bad ass. :D

Merry Christmas all. Hopefully everyone's was full of food and good cheer.

Yes yes, Merry Christmas. I hope everyone doesn't dislike spending time with the extended family as much as myself.

I didn't see a single family member today.

yeah, merry christmas all - hope your day wasn't too stressful! mine wasn't completely terrible this year, in fact it was pretty good in all. food was great and spirits were high - no arguments between the adults and no tantrums amongst the kids - which has to be a first.
on a more material level, the day was made even better for me when my eldest brother offered me the keys to his BMW 3 series (once he buys his new car in a few months). that was quite a pleasant shock!

I believe that more or less wins the gift of the year award.
While I've got a couple hours left, Merry Christmas all. Hope things went well.

I'm late to the thread. Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas day. Things here were hectic for the past 3 days. Places to go and parades of people. Today it's quiet finally, except that there are like 3 dogs here, 2 of which are visitors. They got into a fight earlier, and that was about as loud an event as I ever want to witness. Ow, my ringing ears.
I'm not sure how much longer I'm staying. I'm thinking of leaving sometime this weekend, but I might stay till New Year's. Everyone have a happy.

I return and, thus, officially end the holidays for me. Aimee and I made the drive from Southern California yesterday and returned back to work/school/whatever. Well, I get a day or two to enjoy being home again; Aimee had to work.
The holidays we pretty crazy this year with a lot of down time (which meant I got a good chunk of painting done), a couple big downs, and some really huge ups. Everything was topped off this Sunday morning when the first female to be born into my family since my mother was, well, born. I'm now an uncle twice over and the child, Mia, was born pretty much as problem free as they come. So yays and joys all around.
Christmas was pretty good to me gift wise too. I really only got money because I'm a total bitch to shop for, but I'm perfectly fine with that. Today I ran around and spent some of what I designated as the "fun" portions of the money and came home with the two big portable Final Fantasy games (Revenant Wings and Tactics), Jak 3 (it was like $10), and the DS version of Puzzle Quest because it was on sale for $15. On the warhammer side of things I really didn't get much because I'm already backlogged as it is, but I did pick up a smaller group of Eldar guys. I also picked up more mundane things like a medium sized cooking pot and did some worry free grocery shopping. My family also gave me a new George Foreman grill with removable plates for easy cleaning, which is awesome.
So yeah, good things all around. Hopefully I can remember how to work when I start doing that in a day or two.

You people and your vacations. Sounds like a good time, though. Glad to have you back.
