Too much Bioshock praise, not enough Crysis/COD4 praise.

I can see Bioshock winning all three of those categories, myself...

I still haven't finished Bioshock.

No love for Assassin's Creed, which is definitely one of my favorite games this year.

Bioshock is good, but it's just not as good as Crysis or CoD4.  I started Bioshock a few weeks ago, and haven't touched it since I started playing CoD4 multiplayer and Crysis single player.  I hope I'll get back to it some time.. but it just wasn't that fun of gameplay.  And the baddies are fucking impossible to kill on hard mode.  Seriously.

If anything, Bioshock's TOO EASY w/ the Vita Chambers on -- regardless of diffculty.

Even if you die when fighting tough Big Daddies, you get sent back to a Vita Chamber when you die, can keep running back to the Big Daddies and repeat this cycle until you kill a Big Daddy, since their health doesn't regenerate every time you die.

Of course, on Hard Mode w/ the Chambers off, I bet it'll be damn tough 'cause you can't respawn at all...

I don't use the Vita Chambers because I think they are stupid.

I agree. I just don't use them. I'd rather load a game.
