Title: Steel Saviour
Post by: Quemaqua on Sunday, January 06, 2008, 01:55:00 PM
Check it out! (http://playthisthing.com/steel-saviour)  Shareware is a big 130 or so MB download, but looks pretty sweet.  I haven't had the chance to try it out yet, but I think several people here would dig it from what I've heard.  Old-school shmup action with high production values.

Remind me what "shmup" is again...

Shmup is a shoot em up, like Gradius, Ikaruga, Galaga, and other games of that sort.

I will have to try that game when I get home from work.

EDIT:  I played some of it last night, it was pretty fun.

I played a bit too, I dug it.  Cool little game.  I can't justify the cost of buying any more games for a while after my latest DS spending spree, but.... yeah.
