It is 2:30 in the afternoon here on a Saturday and I just got home from work, heated up the mutton curry I made last night... and yes.

Only 1:30 here, but yeah, I'm up. Was supposed to do music stuff for FAWM (http://www.fawm.org), but then we had a friend over tonight. Had a big fat dinner, watched Sleepy Hollow which we just picked up on DVD to replace our old VHS of it that we lost, and smoked, chatted, annoyed the general populace of El Cerrito by being too loud (THE SHOE'S ON THE OTHER FOOT NOW, JERKS), and had a good time. Now I'm sitting here too wired to sleep even though I should.

mutton curry eh? I never seem to find the time to cook anymore. Honestly I'm getting a little tired of putting all of my existing time and energy into work. I feel like I haven't had a chance to relax since Last june, and I've got another 4 months of bullshit to put up with until I can finally relax knowing I won't be fired if I fail some stupid test. They cut us loose from work today after only 8 hours. It honestly felt like it was a half day or something.
I originally wasn't planning to do anything tonight, but after work was over, the night seemed to have potential. Several people from work and a few girls from around town all seemed willing to come over and have a few drinks tonight, but in the end everyone from work is too exausted to come out and the girls flaked out.... so, now I'm sitting up watching the spanish language version of some old sammo hung movie on Telemundo. I'm dead tired, but for some reason I just don't want to go to sleep.

yeah, i stayed in last night. i live four stories up facing out onto the busiest street in town, so i can hear all the drunks shouting and singing up the high street. makes you feel kind of pathetic hearing everyone else having fun. did get completely fucked on wednesday and thursday night, also going out tonight, so i had an excuse this time.

There's no excuse for me. I've stayed away from alcohol for weeks now. The only exception was a beer on Wednesday when I was out with one of my brothers. Have not been going out much at all. I'm in again today. Tomorrow I'll go to my brother's (same one) for a Super Bowl get together. I'll probably do beer then too.

I'm still not sure what I want to do for the game. I may go up to Phoenix to party tonight and stay up there and watch the game tomorrow. The only problem is that Phoenix is a solid 3 hour drive and I really should be studying spanish this weekend...

The Super Bowl is the most rediculously overrated production in existence. I mean, people get excited about the commercials. Now that's capitalism at its finest.

we normally organise something for the superball. i guess that must say something about it's influence. considering that it goes on until about 3am on monday morning and that i have to be up at about 6.30 that day, i'm going to have to skip it this time. overrated, maybe, but a good excuse for hotdogs and easy to drink beer.

I have the flu, so it has been a low key weekend for me. Meh.
