Hey thats awesome! I was wishing something would be made like this, if guitar hero can make playing with a simple toy guitar so fun, why not make something similar that will help teach you play a real guitar.

Although Im sure people will laugh when I say I trained with Guitar Rising, I dont care, I would just like to learn how to play without the learning curve being so mind numbing.

Yeah, it's not a bad idea at all.  I'm not sure exactly how it'll work, but it could well be worth checking out.  This is something even I might pick up for fun.  Hell, I already have the guitar (thanks, I don't need to spend $30 or $40 or whatever it costs extra for a fucking plastic guitar), so why not?

Very interesting.

So, I'm wondering...

Do you like plug the real guitar into a port? Serial? USB?
Input slot???

Do you gotta' buy some adapter so you can plug it into your PC??

Or does it just pick up sound???

Or what??

I thought it said USB device somewhere?  I don't remember where.  That would be my guess, anyway.  A box that plugs in via USB and has a guitar input jack on it.  I can't see any other way that would be feasible for the average man.
