Aimee and I should start to watch season 2 pretty soon once we finish up the last season of Battlestar Galactica.

Well it was a great episode. Not quite season one caliber but better than two.

Don't worry though, you have plenty to look forward to with season two.

As much as people talk about this, I just can't really get myself to care.  It sounds cool, and I even saw a few episodes at Sy's house, but... I dunno'.  I just can't really bring myself to care.  Maybe it's just the time investment and such that's turning me off.

Fuck, that was pretty good.  Better then I expected.  BTW, you guys should check out lostpedia.com for info you may have missed.  Think wikipedia for people who study the show and catch all kinds of shit most of us miss

Damn, I'm a day late on finishing season 2. Just rented disk 6/7 of season two today. The last episode of disk 5 was pretty intense, the ending was unexpected-

I was so happy when she died, I hated her. in real life the actresses that play ana lucia and libby got dui's and plead guilty, so it was generally assumed they would be killed off.

Ahh, didn't know the backstory. It was somewhat unexpected, considering that they put a lot of time into her, and this happened with little closure on it all. I'm just waiting for Hurley to start kickin ass now.

So how is season 3 panning out? Season 2 was fantastic towards the end.

the first episode was  all right, the 2nd one sucked and the 3rd one was quite good.

It's still a bit too early to say how this season will go. After 5 episodes they're taking a hiatus until February and then showing the rest of the season without break.

How the hell could they have not seen the other island? Especially from the top of the big island, it should be easy to spot.

This is my big theory on everything which also explains that.

The island was covered by a dome of sorts, by the big electromagnet. That's why nobody could ever leave the island, you try and you just get sucked back in. That explains why Michael and Sawyer got sucked back into the island even though the current really wouldn't have done that. It shows how Desmond just ended up circumnavigating the island once he found it, and was unable to escape, even with a boat. So when the hatch blew up, the electromagnet was gone, the dome uncovered and you could see the other island. That's why the others showed it to Sawyer. They knew he would try and escape, see the island and be all wtf. So they showed it to him so that when he sees it, he sees it as I'm screwed instead of as freedom. Now that the electromagnet is gone, they can escape if they tried which is why the others were so frantic to get the boat. It really makes no sense, based on everything that we've seen, for them to be on another island.

And just for fun, another theory.

There's another group of others on the island. The others we've seen really don't follow the whole walking in the jungle barefoot thing we saw in season 2. The other group of others are much more savage, outcasts from the original group or something. That's why the others always say they're protecting the island crashes, and how they aren't the enemies. So later on in this season, we'll encounter the other group of others and shit will commence going down.
