I finally dinged my warrior to 70. Now with the help of this guide (http://www.wow-loot.com/warrior.htm#builds) I can find and get all the pre-Kara gear I need to help with my guild. So yea, my life is over.

It was nice knowin' ya'! I'll save your spot for OWmeet just in case you remember about real life at some point in the next month. I never did even get my pally to 60. I've wanted to go back so many times, but I just never seem to get over the hump...
-
Once they bundle the expansions together for a decent price and give me a month free for buying them I will probably play again.
But yeah, good knowing you. I'd say it was fun but...lets not kid ourselves. :-[

I still play and I'm still here.
I have a 70 warrior and mage and am working on a druid who is currently 48. My warrior is very well geared too both for PVP and PVE. 360 resilience makes me pretty much unkillable.
-
I got 2 70s, mage and priest, both in epic PvE and PvP gear.
-
I still play, though I'm getting really bored of the game. With all raid content on farm status, things get stagnant and dull. PvP is nothign like what it was at 60. Once you have all the gear from it, it feels pointless.
I've got a 70 paladin, Gladiator title/mount, and 3/5 season 3 ret gear with a Stormherald. A friend plays him now and is 4/5 season 3 holy gear.
I've gota 70 warrior I just started gearing up. He's 1/5 season 3, and working on his honor gear. He's also got Jin/rohk, the sword off the last boss in Zul'Aman.
And of course there's my rogue. Gladiator, full tier 6, the legendary mainhand sword off Illidan. He's got some pieces of season 3 pvp gear, but I just wear 4 piece tier 6 in PvP. I'm currently leveling a new rogue so I can sell the original one sometime before the next expansion.

Question, why are there seasons for PvP gear?
I really wish I could raid Black Temple, I would love to see that place. I'm still working on gear to get into fucking Kara. Anyhow, here's my warrior at the moment. (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Bonechewer&n=Olathin) He's in mostly blues, I'm pretty much ready, I just need to get attuned. Also due to my schedule, its hard for me to raid, cause I work during most guild's raid hours. However I did find one guild that mostly consist of aussies that raid around late night hours since its like 6pm for them, its 1am for me. So hopefully I can get into their guild.

i only arena now
Full season 3, full Vindicators, season 3 mace
Arms warrior + resto druid is hard to beat.
Occasionally i go into BGs just to see how hard i own. The other day i 3 shot another warrior with a Honed Voidaxe lolol

Question, why are there seasons for PvP gear?
It's to keep the PvPers progressing at the same speed as the PvEers.
Season 1 = Kara
Season 2 = SSC/TK
Season 3 = Hyjal/BT
Season 4 = Sunwell Plateau
I'm pretty sure Blizzard even uses overall PvE progression across all servers to determine when to start each season too. Season 4 gear is slightly better than the early stuff out of Sunwell, and not quite as good as the stuff from the last couple bosses. So most people assume that once a decent number of guilds (across all servers) have gotten halfway through Sunwell, Blizzard will release season 4.
EDIT: If anyone's interested, here's my characters' armories. It doesn't seem to be up to date though. It's got my rogue PvP specced in my PvP setup, but I've been PvE specced for 2 weeks or more. It does have my paladin as ret though.

I don't know, it feels like theres way more to do than what it was at 60. In fact it feels like the gap between those that just turned 70 to those with really good gear is huge. I can tell you it doesn't do good with the community. There's a lot more pretentious assholes that play that feel like people owe them something for sitting on their ass all day grinding on WoW. I mean I play WoW a lot, but getting wiped once in a pug, throwing a hissy fit and leaving doesnt show how awesomely good you are. I don't know, maybe I suck and I probably do, but if sucking at the game doesnt make you an asshole, then im game.

I still play, though a lot less than I used to.
I just joined a guild that has Hyjal and Black Temple on farm, so I go in there, do the bosses and get some easy loot on my mage.
My toon's armory can be seen in my sig.
Anyway, my mage is 3/5 tier 6, Illidan staff, and a couple of T5 equivalent loot. For pvp, I've got 4/5 season 3, full vindicator gear, and season 2 weapons and shoulders. I was really trying to push for 1850 personal rating, but the mage is one of the weakest classes in the arena, so I've pretty much stopped doing arenas altogether on my mage. Plus the constant need to respec between pvp and pve would just be a hefty cost.
My priest has a PvE set (full primal mooncloth, whitemends, and karazhan epics), but I don't pve with my priest, and I pvp almost soley on her. I've only started doing arenas this season on my priest, so her pvp gear is a little scattered, but 2/5 S3, 2/5 S2, and 1/5 S1, along with full vindicator and pve weapons. My 2v2 arena team is hoping to hit 1850 this week. SL/SL lock + disc priest is a pretty powerful combo.

Well, progression was slower at 60. You'd have a guild clear MC, get the gear, and then go play around with it for a few months while other guilds caught up. Then a new instance was released and it started over. Level 70 is a long non-stop grind, and you can't pick up raiding later in the game without working your way through a long chain of attunements (which are just nwo being removed).
PvP is just not the same as is was at 60. On a 500 resilience target, my rogue's attacks crit for less than they did at 60, they crit half as often, and people have more than twice the HP. As the PvP seasons progress, healers heal for more, and you crit less, giving healers the upper hand. You don't kill people anymore, you kill their healer's mana pool. Have you ever seen a well geared rogue duel a well geared discipline priest or resto druid? A smart healer won't lose.
World PvP is dead because arenas and BG grinds have people staying in town. The "hardcore PvP" crowd only has to leave town to visit the gladiator gear vendor. People use to go out looking for fights, now they just queue up. If you do manage do find someone out in the world, they'll be undergeared, and maybe not even 70 yet. If they're 70, they just mount up and fly away. Meeting stones and flying mounts severely limit the ground traffic, so there's less people to fight.
I pretty much only play anymore because something better hasn't come along, and I don't have the PC or console to play something else in my free time. I have been playing some flash games. I was addicted to Winterbells for about 3 days straight.

i'm leveling a druid right now just cause they own so hard in PVP. All that CC, healing and super hard for melee to kill. imba

Well I'm finally off of it. Basically hit the same dead end I did last time when I was 60 with my rogue. I just can't play with random people in that game and with all the my friends no longer playing its not worth it. I had 2 awful experiences with pugs the other day and they were led by fucking assholes that apparently would not shut up at how much the whole group sucks and how much hes wasting his time yadda yadda. It infuriated me to a point to where I just decided to quit because its just not worth it. Its worse at 70 than it was at 60.
Anyhow, the only way I'll touch the game again is if some of you guys go back to it. Which probably wont be around till the next expansion I guess.
