Title: RIP Gary Gygax
Post by: idolminds on Tuesday, March 04, 2008, 12:40:36 PM
Very sad. (http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=08/03/04/1750206&from=rss)

For you heathens that don't know, he was the co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons which pretty much inspired every RPG (tabletop or videogame) since.

Wow even his last name was like something out of D&D. That's sad. I will cast a magic missile in the sky tonight.

Wonder if he dropped any good loot?

Totally wrong, yet somehow I don't think he'd mind.

RIP.  It must have been a hell of a ride.

Oh, I'm sure he was doing blow off the backs of super models in private airplanes on a daily basis.  Yup, that's for sure.

Wasn't he featured on an episode of Futurama with Al Gore and Stephen Hawking?

Edit: Yup.
