Shades of green: The Santa Clara County district attorney pressed criminal charges against Richard Treanor...
There is something horribly wrong with a DA using his position to press criminal charges against someone for a crime which is slightly less important than people sticking gum on the undersides of park benches.
Horrible source, but interesting story.
The Christian Science Monitor is a very respectable newspaper, the "Christian Science" part notwithstanding.

Really? I had never heard of it and the name totally threw me off. They also omitted the part about the guy with the solar panels actually being a solar panel salesman (or something to that effect) out, which I believe has some bearing.

My life will be complete if I can have an intense argument with my neighbor about their shrubberies.

Man the legal system is retarded. Trees were there before the solar panels were installed. Tough shit if they are shaded now, you should have thought of that before you installed them.

I actually just read an article on the outcome of this a few days ago. The trees lost the battle, they were forced to be trimmed around 15 feet. Pretty dumb considering what Idol pointed out.

Exactly! WTF is wrong with people today?!
