I haven't watched South Park since like 1998, seriously.  I had completely forgotten it even existed.

I almost went away during the Grapes of Wrath skit, but then it picked up again.  A giant router.  Haha!

I don't know what it is but I just can't make myself want to watch South Park.  I think it's a fairly smart show despite it's crudeness, and I think they've done interesting things with it, but... I don't know, the thought of it just kind of nauseates me.  I don't know what it is.  I got it out of my system years ago and I just can't go back.  I've tried, it doesn't work.

 ... am I getting old?

I'm with you.  South Park's thing is shock value.  Or at least it was in the late 90's.  I mean it did have an interesting social commentary sometimes, but mostly it was just trying to make you say "Oh my God, I can't believe they just said/did that!"  Like the Richers one.  Wow.

Well after you see a lot of them you sort of get desensitized I think, and the stuff that was shocking before isn't so shocking anymore and eventually it all just sort of wears out.

Ironically (and hilariously) when I got home on Thursday (right after I had watched that episode) the internet was gone! My brother came out and he's like "There's no internet! What's going on?!" I laughed my ass off! What are the odds? hahah

We were internetless until some time yesterday. Those two netless days were amusing since I had seen the episode. I let my brother watch it too so he can appreciate the irony.
