Woohoo! (http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/52422)
Handled by Ubisoft Montreal, who did Sands of Time and Assassins Creed. Mix some PoP-style puzzles with Assassins Creed free running and you've got a sale!

Yeah, only a matter of time until that would finally be official.... (http://www.overwritten.net/forum/index.php?topic=3525.0)

Funny, I don't remember that thread at all, even though I posted in it.
But yeah, I still have to finish the other 2. Need to do that.

I need to finish PoP: SOT and PoP: WW.
I need to find PoP: Two Thrones.
EDIT:
I forgot about that thread about the PoP4 plans, too (http://www.overwritten.net/forum/index.php?topic=231.0)

MyD, I told you about the trilogy pack, right?
My favourite is definitely Sands of Time. I like The Two Thrones more than Warrior Within; that's not to say that I don't like WW, I do just a little less than TTT.

Yes.
I don't think it got a US Release yet, unfortunately.
I only need Two Thrones, though -- which is SF equipped.
(That can be easily changed, though.)

Check out some mag scans of the new game here (http://ds.qj.net/Prince-of-Persia-s-new-look-and-initial-details-revealed/pg/49/aid/119146). Its got a cel-shaded, artsy look to it.
-
I actually really like a couple of those. They could botch it, but there's definitely some potential there.

The shaded-look is quite interesting for this series -- especially since The Prince is kind of a larger than lifee of comic book character, anyways. I don't know if the artistic cel-shaded style still will be botched or not; not sure if I hate it or like it yet. I guess I'd just have to see the game in action, to really form an opinion.
But, since this is an UbiSoft published game, the PC version will probably be botched in other ways; namely in the game's system requirements and in-game performance factor. :P

I really like the new design.

It's starting to look like Okami! But with a Persian Ninja!
I was skeptical when they first announced a new PoP game, but when I found out that Ubi Montréal is behind it (and I like the art style) I'm really looking forward to it now.

I wonder if Altair will make an appearance in this game... :P

New screens (http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/52803), and its looking good.

Yahtzee takes on the entire Prince Of Persia Saga in this Retrospective
(from Mechner's original to the new cel-shaded one coming up). (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/183-Prince-of-Persia-Retrospective)

He doesn't retrospect at all into the original game, except to mention it as the point of departure for SoT and its 2 inferior sequels. So, while I did laugh, it wasn't what I was hoping for.
-
Yeah, I was hoping he would talk more about the originals. Oh well, still entertaining.
