So like... this album is apparently out now. Totally slipped by me. Bought it at the usual place, impressions soon to follow. Will keep you updated.

So I gave this a listen and I don't quite know what to make of it.  I feel a bit underwhelmed by it in general (it certainly isn't as good as some of their past stuff), but at the same time when I listen to it I generally enjoy it.  So yeah, I dunno'.  I guess that about sums up my thoughts.  There are a few tracks I don't like as much, I feel this is a very weak entry lyrically, but the songs are still pretty solid, a few of them are pretty wicked, and the thing never really devolves to the point of being lousy.  The third time I listened to it I felt like I liked it a lot better than the first time, too, so maybe it'll keep growing on me.
