Title: Irrational Games' "The Lost" is finally released

I remember someone telling me about this when the PS2 first came out and he was totally pumped on it.  I followed the game through development hell and am really happy to see that it finall...wh-what the fuck?  NO. (http://www.gamesetwatch.com/2008/03/irrationals_the_lost_turns_up.php)

That video couldn't possibly have been less appealing.  What the fuck happened there?  And why am I suddenly ashamed that I was at one point eagerly anticipating the game from which this came?
