21 of Sierra's game servers are going down on the MP-side of things on Nov. 1, 2008.

The following game servers will be shut down as of 11/01/08:
1. Alien vs Predator 2
2. Arcanum
3. Caesar IV
4. Dark Reign 2
5. Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom
6. Empire Earth
7. Empire Earth 2
8. Empire Earth: Age of Conquest
9. Ground Control
10. Ground Control2
11. Homeworld
12. Homeworld: Cataclysm
13. Nolf2
14. Red Baron
15. Sanity
16. Star Trek: Armada
17. SWAT3: EE
18. SWAT3: GOTY
19. The Incredible Machine
20. Tribes2
21. Vampire

That kinda sucks but not that big of an issue. Most people play on private servers anyway.

I never tried Arcanum's MP. Never had a real need to.
NOLF 2, never tried the MP. Never finished the SP, even though it's still installed.

Interesting. I wonder if you'll need a CD key anymore for Tribes 2. It was released for free as a T:V promo, but they only gave out so many keys to play.

Those all still had official servers running? I find that hard to believe. Some of those are old as the hills.

Not official playable servers, but the master servers were still up. So this means no more in-game server browser.

Well, yeah... but it surprises me they even had that much. Some companies wouldn't seem so outrageous, but with what Sierra has become, it didn't seem realistic.

Single Player games don't ever die! Muhahahahahaha!
(As long as there's no required activation or connection needed to the Net for the SP game.)
