Title: Went To the Obama Rally
Post by: nickclone on Monday, November 03, 2008, 10:58:58 PM
Obama's last rally, in Manassas, Virginia was tonight and I was there. Its was literally ten minutes from my house, but it took us an hour to get there. They say there was 100k people there, but I couldn't tell because all I could see were a sea of heads in every direction. I got some pictures, but I was too far away to make him out with the camera. Anyways, it was fun...but the Skins lost...fair trade though...

So, if he only gets 90,000 votes we know something is up right?

Especially since I voted 800 times.

I'm going to join his citizen's police force so I can beat people and extort money from them just like a real commie.

So just to clarify, President Bush can illegally spy on civilians and create unconstitutional prison camps, but it's Obama who's the evil communist.

Alright, gotcha.

Well, to be fair, neither of those things would really be solely associated with a communist government.  I personally like to think of bush as a strong leader, willing to do what it takes to take down those dirty traitors and terrorists....Like that Obama guy.  Wait...if he wins, can't they just arrest him for that whole 9/11 thing when he goes to pick up the keys to the white house?

Holy shit, it's a trap!

Bush? A strong leader? Are you kidding?

When did I ever say I was a Bush supporter?  Or even a McCain supporter, for that matter?  My comment was a little snide, but not made in jest.

Try to look back in history at the nations that have instituted national police forces not beholden to local government, and think well on how that worked out for the citizens.  We have bigger problems than this useless argumentative bullshit and the masturbatory self-satisfaction of an "election race".  The system is broken on both sides, and we need to wake up and look around the globe at the absolutely frightening Marxist movement now on our shores.  I was once stupid enough to think that this country was going to run itself into the ground.  I've come to realize that in fact, it will likely remain quite strong after the citizenry is subjugated further by those in power, after being quietly assimilated as the people continue to lose hope and, in fear, give up all their social and economic liberties in the vain hope of a better life.

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.  You've heard it before.  Think about it.

Well, he bent you over and raped you didn't he?  Or are you willing to admit you're just going to give it up to anyone who wants it?

I never said or implied that you were. My point is that if you're going to imply that Obama is like Lenin (presumably because of his "socialist" economic policies), then by the same logic Bush is like Stalin or Hitler (because of his stance on personal liberty, government spying, criminal prosecution, extralegal incarceration, torture, foreign policy, and almost every other issue of substance).

Also, under the Bush administration, the TSA and DHS have implemented what amounts to internal passports - probably the single most defining feature of Soviet-style government.

A national police force not beholden to local government... you mean the FBI, ATF, or DHS?

And what do "national police forces" have to do with Obama?

It is now clear that I have no idea what you're talking about, and I'll need to ask a) exactly who comprises this Marxist movement, b) what specific policies they support that make them "Marxist," and c) how any of this ties to Obama specifically.

He didn't rape us, he fucked us. And we let him.

Word is that Obama took both Ohio and Pennsylvania. Barring a ridiculous upset (eg California goes Republican), that pretty much clinches the election.

Look at the pure evil embodied there.  Can't you just smell it?  That guy on the right... shifty eyes.  Shifty.

I liked these Jewish comedians more than those Jewish comedians.

Ohio goes blue.  I'm glad to have done my ridiculously small part.  This one is in the bag.  Elephants, lumber home.
