Cool. Now we have to monitor her for the enxt few years and see if any complications arise. If not then I'll consider it as a victory.

Amazing story.  Good for her.  They used a donor's trachea as a blueprint of sorts, but isn't the idea to eventually grow full individual organs that really belong to an individual person?  There's nothing wrong with that.  I think people are afraid it would be more like The Island (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0399201/).

I think that's extreme idea people fear. Sure, it would suck if it did happen but such an extreme thought is like people fearing machines will rise and conquer us back when the CPU was first coming to public awareness.
