Canadian actor and videogame voice specialist Michael Rudder was among the casualties in the terrorist attacks in Mumbai yesterday.
The actor was dining at the Oberoi Hotel in Mumbai when militants opened fire. Rudder was hit by three bullets and rushed to hospital where he successfully underwent surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
You may recognise Rudder's voice from such games as Far Cry Instincts, Prince Of Persia: The Warrior Within (he played the Dark Prince), Jagged Alliance and - somewhat ironically - terrorist-slaying black ops game Splinter Cell.

I'm glad he's recovering.
Fucking terrorists man.
-
That's screwed-up. :(
I hope his recovery goes well.
-
Huh. Wonder what he was doing over there. That's a pretty ironic little story. Hope things go well for him.
-
bet they'll be some genuine venom in sam fisher's voice, next instalment.
-
Glad he's OK. That is pretty damn ironic. He should have hid in the shadows or something.
-
They saw the lights from his goggles.

I am pretty sure it was Michael Ironside who voiced Sam Fisher, and not this dude.

Yeah, I know he did other voices in the game.

It was a tourist hotspot. Apparently a lot of film industry people were there.

I heard a very sad story on the radio today about a father and his daughter who were killed over there. The guy worked for some sort of aid organization (I forget which) and traveled all over the world. This was the first trip he brought his daughter on, who was going to get a story that she needed to write for a scholarship.
Apparently the terrorists were targeting foreigners, and particularly Americans...
-
The world is being overrun by savages. Eventually, they'll overwhelm the rest of us. Nobody has the balls for genocide, except them.
-
Sad but true. I just pray I don't live to see it.
-
The term "terrorist" is too benign for these sadistic fucks.

I have a tip for you guys. This isn't even a joke. Next time you travel, stitch the Canadian flag on back of your backpacks. Well, unless you are traveling to Poland.
As for these terrorists... I don't know what they hoped to achieve by killing innocent people... insanity.
