Yeah, Dexter is only three books.

We don't exchange gifts so I expected nothing and got nothing. Then at about 4pm my Dad hands me $80. That was nice.

Que is winning though. Who wants stuff when you can have cake? That's where my money is going.

I got a nice pair of shoes and a fancy scarf.  Also had sirloin steak at a nice restaurant, with a good jazz trio playing nearby.  So I can't complain at all.

I basically got a lot of work and school related stuff, as well as some cash.  Today, however, I ended up having to trek down to the mall in order to buy jumper cables and road salt (don't ask).  I figured that if I was going to brave the idiots out trying to kill each other in order to save $10 on a $1500 purchase I might as well get something out of it.  I went a little overboard and bought a DS, a Castlevania game, Trauma Center 2, and The World Ends With You or whatever (mainly because a few people here seemed to like it quite a bit).  While it's charging I can't help but think it was a huge mistake and I could have spent that money elsewhere.

My fiancee's family was terribly generous to me this year.  Completely unexpected.  I've probably gotten more this year than in the past 3 or 4.

Electric blanket
Best Buy gift card
Wal Mart gift card
Prince of Persia 360
Polo Sweater
A Conan story compilation
Pyrex bakeware
Cranium
A sweet Alabama Crimson Tide t-shirt
a "professional" Grilling set
a fleece vest
a dockers sweater
Gap button up shirt
Drive-By Truckers CD
John Coltrane compilation CD.

My fiance got some stuff that will no doubt benefit me as well.  Kitchen stuff, a few board games, etc

Socks
Underwear
Sweat pants
A waffle maker with awesome maple syrup / waffle mix
Some delicious looking crab cakes my brother made
A nice glass for drinking various liquids
An extremely cute picture of my little nephew
Some shirts

Also, I bought a shamwow for my sis. Actually, it wasn't a real shamwow - it's a knockoff. But a guy was selling them at a kiosk and I really wanted to haggle with him for the lowest price, which was fun, even though he totally sucked at demonstrating it and wasn't nearly as good as Vince the Shamwow guy.

That whole post makes you sound like a lady from the 1960s.

It was a hardfought better between you and W7re.

I think you edged it.

Hmmm.  How much did you get him to move?

I considered calling it a "black tie and suit," but disgusting philistines like you wouldn't know what that means anyway.

And I have no idea what you mean about the Crock pot. A device capable of cooking twenty-five pounds of delicious meat without requiring a human operator is probably the manliest invention in the history of Man.

5 bucks for the large one. Got it 50% off what he originally told me, which I was happy with.

We have a crock pot too. Makes the meat very tender... mmm... I also bought a very nice electric oven recently. Makes for some good roasted chicken... and is easy to use.

But, still, I am pretty sure W&C looks like this:

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Nothing wrong with that at all.

Ignore Pugnate, he masturbates wildly in public while fantasizing about women who douche themselves with Lysol as a method of birth control.

This thought was far too elaborate to have been at all random.

I fear for those around you. Thank god for public indecency laws.

A bunch of clothes; new pair of headphones; candy; and some other junk probably not worth mentioning.
