And get Fallout 3...right?
-
I've been enjoying PoP quite a bit but Fallout 3 is off the fucking hook. Personally, I'd keep PoP and just go buy Fallout but I have a soft spot for platformers.
-
get both.
-
Sadly it's a one or the other sort of thing. My reasoning is that Fallout would give more bang for the buck, while Prince of Persia would probably hit discount sooner. I'm trying to not spend any money on games so I can feel ok when I drop 200+ bucks on street fighter iv in February
-
I would say that PoP 2008 is The Best Platformer Of The Year and that Fallout 3 is The Best RPG of The Year.
You CANNOT get rid of both.
Both are great.
-
Fallout 3 is probably the better choice if you put it that way K-Man.
I'm gonna be picking up both probably next week.
-
Guess it depends whether you want a platformer or an RPG. I haven't played PoP but I have Fo3 and it's awesome. If you are going purely based on content and playtime, the choice is pretty obvious.
-
For the 360, you are likely to get $60 for it or whatever. I'd say you do the exchange, and pick PoP later. It is already $30 on the PC.
-
Fallout 3 without any hesitation whatsoever. Mind you, I've not played the latest PoP (though I do plan to pick it up), but trust me. You want Fallout 3.

Got any local closing Circuit City store nearby?
Might wanna check them.
They are selling some of their games cheap b/c some of those are closing..
I've heard about some seen the FO3: CE for $34.99 from CAG at closing CC's.
Your Mileage May Vary, of course -- from what I'm reading.
Read about this rumor on CAG (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=208921)

I just started playing Fallout 3 yesterday. You guys know me and RPGs. Generally I hate them. I played from the moment I got up and got it installed until about 5:30pm. I would have played later on last night for at least a few hours if I wasn't so tired. It's a fantastic game.
I am starting to swim in sub-quests though.
-
Wow...you actually like a RPG. Nice. :)
Yeah, FO3 is a pretty great cross b/t a RPG and a shooter -- as it has both elements very heavily, whereas much either lean on being much deeper on one side than the other.
I do wish the melee combat allowed me in VATS to target body parts, though -- not a big deal, though. They should do that in some FO3 DLC or FO4. Regardless, FO3 is pretty amazing. BethSoft's best work by far.

I've lost so much interest in RPGs for the last several years, but Fallout 3 is damn addictive. I really need to get back to it.

Going by that logic you really can't go wrong with Fallout 3. I played the hell out of that game and still didn't reveal a large portion of the map. From looking around I know I missed a ton of sidequests and towns.

I did the exchange today. Can't wait to tear into it.

Hope you enjoy it, bro. FO3 is great.
And well, so is PoP 2008...must go work more on PoP 2008 now...
-
Not terribly far into it (I just got out of the vault), but I think I made the right decision

Glad you like FO3. :)
