I didn't know what fisting meant until the last few years.  (Firefox's spellchecker doesn't know what it means right now.)  Its very possible the woman making an ass of herself is doing it unwittingly.  I'm sure she means something like the fingerless handshakes that have become popular among some.

Yeah she didn't know. She was referring to the "fist bumps" that they do.
