You've got nothing on this guy. (http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/02/11/pedestrian-is-struck-and-dragged-17-miles/?hp)

The second driver later told investigators that he kept driving, but that he stopped at some point to check his vehicle because something seemed to be wrong with it.
O RLY?
I once hit some of those orange cones they use to close a lane on the road. The van that was ahead of me swerved over at the last second, and then the reason hit me, literally. Bowling time. Strike! After that, I could tell I was dragging something immediately. OK, so it wasn't a big vehicle. It was only a midsized '72 Chevy. But this was much, much lighter than a human body. I pulled over, and sure enough there was a cone standing up, wedged between the radiator and the grille/frame/bumper/whatever.
So this guy drags a human body for 17 miles, *then* decides to check out the car's odd sounds and behavior? I'm glad he doesn't get to drive anything of mine.

God, New Yorkers.

Maybe the driver had somewhere to be. People have jobs and things to do, you know. You can't jus stop every time there's a human being pinned under your car, it would take forever to get anythig done!
