Oh God, it's gonna be another "over-glorfied victory over the dirty evil [insert peoples]" flick.
Still, great job freeing their man.

The Navy Seals bit was pretty cool heh.
-
Don't mess with the Seals. They'll totally be all ninja on your ass. And stuff.
-
haha Que...
Xessive will enjoy reading the following... So much so that he will fantasize for just a second about resigning his job, and joining the military:

In the end, it was a single moment that brought the hostage crisis to its dramatic finish.

Three gunshots. All three fatal. Fired in the dark by three specially trained U.S. Navy SEALs as the pirates' boat rocked in the water off Somalia.
"Phenomenal shots -- 75 feet away," said Navy Vice Adm. Bill Gortney, who oversees the region.
A senior defense official told CNN that each was a shot to the head.
YEAAAAAA....
I don't know why that makes me feel so happy, but it does.

Wow man, frickin' snipering!
One shot one kill. The sniper mantra.
-
haha imagine if after the shots some voice boomed from the sky announcing in a godlike voice,"MULTIKILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!"

Hahaha "M-M-M-Monster Kill!"
EDIT:
God, we're so desensitized!

Those bastards got what they deserved.

It's too bad all hijackings can't end like this. We need to try more often.
-
Only one thing could have made this a more perfect takedown: if the rifles were silenced. "Pfft, pfft, pfft.. Tangos eliminated. Hostage secured."
-
It can't be long until a navy (U.S. or otherwise) starts posting warships around the horn of Africa. Capture of container and tanker ships cost the world economy too much money.
-
Yea well the Japanese and the Indians went... and the Indians sunk an innocent Thai vessel thinking it was a pirate ship. Indians are so desperate to prove themselves in every field that they do stuff like this constantly.

So true. I remember something similar happened with a land operation a few years back.
I think it was the Russians or the Ukrainians who spearheaded the patrol operations.

Mistakes like that will happen as long as the situation isn't brought under control. I can't fathom why it hasn't been already. It's just freaking Somalia. We're not talking the entire Atlantic ocean here with wooden ships and no communications (and no aircraft, and no guided missiles . . .). Arr!
