There are stilts for people who work in construction sites on ceilings. You stand in them and they strap around your legs. So the concept isn't new.
If you look carefully at where her foot is, watch that as she walks, you'll see how pointless the whole exercise is. She gains height, but I really see no other advantage. I suppose strides would be longer, but then the swinging of the legs with each step would be slower.
But it is funny, the second set especially.

Why?
For costumers, preformers and actors everywhere.
I thought it was pointless too, but I guess if you've got a part in a play as a minotaur or something, it could be helpful.

That pic reminds me of Battle Beasts. Remember those things?

Battle Beasts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_Beasts)! I wasn't sure I knew what you were talking about, wiki'd it and now I remember! I think they were called something different here.

Battle Beasts are one of the toys that I miss from my childhood. I wish I could get my hands on some, just to... I guess I'd say, "sweet, I remember having this one!" and then get bored and toss them aside, haha. Madball Pop-Off Heads too, and Boglins.
