Title: PSP 3000 owners: Custom firmware for you!

If you're on official firmware 5.03 (the most recent version is 5.50, so hopefully you didnt update) you can use this to load custom firmware so you can use homebrew, emulators, play backups, etc. I don't know how it works exactly, but if you bought a newer model PSP and wanted to do all that stuff, it now looks like you can.

Do you need a UMD game to run "Bugz" or anything. I have my nephews PSP, and I want to try some home brew, but he doesn't have any games...

Damn, I apparently did do the update to 5.50.  Oh well, I'm sure it will be hacked eventually.

You poor bastards.  I seriously don't know how I'd feel if something happened to my PSPfat.  I've been on custom firmware basically since 1.50... hard to believe we've come this far.
