Anyone checked this out yet?
Trailer here. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czi7irIm73k)

It looks absolutely terrible.
-
Yeah, but I like Gerard Butler. I expect it'll be a lot like Death Race.
-
Death Race? Oh, that's too bad.
-
I actually want to see it, I haven't seen an action movie in theaters in a long time. Plus, I have a man crush on Michael C. Hall.
-
I hope the movie, story, and characters itself are as kick-ass as the trailer is.
I doubt that, myself.
-
You thought the trailer was kick ass?
I thought it was purely ass.

Action looked good, on the big theatre screen and all.
Saw previews for it when I went to see District 9 and Inglorious.

Maybe I am being too harsh, but I thought it looked really bad. Hope it turned out well.

No no, I completely agree with you. Contrary to what the movie may be like, the trailer looks like its going to be complete shit.

I had an opportunity to watch this earlier, but one glance at the reviews sent me away. Today I couldn't find anything else I wanted to watch, so I grabbed it. Surprisingly, I was entertained for the duration. Gore, sex, simple story, lots of action, striking colors (in opposition to dull browns where appropriate) and one or two fits of brilliance. Visceral 90% of the time. Some movies really are as bad as the reviews that stopped me earlier. But this isn't one of them. If you're in the mood, insert coin.

Hm. Interesting take. I'll stick it on Netflix. I'm sure Jennie will be thrilled when it arrives. :P
