Title: IGF Mod competition entries
Post by: idolminds on Sunday, October 22, 2006, 10:30:06 AM
IGF had a mod competition last year, but only for select games. This year they are allowing mods for any game.

Here are the entries. (http://www.igf.com/php-bin/entries2007_mod.php)

Doom 3, UT2004, Morrowind, NWN, HL2, Homeworld 2....lots of stuff.

Meh.  Most roleplaying mods do the same kinds of things, even if the window dressing is different.  Though I guess NWN2 has a pretty powerful toolset for TCs and such.

Anyway... some cool stuff there.  I really want to try DungeonDoom, but I don't have the space on my replacement HDD at the moment... and every time I look at it I think "Hellgate: London."  Weekday Warrior looks great, too, and Spawns of Deflebub looks pretty fun.

EDIT - Watch the Weekday Warrior trailer.  If it doesn't make you want to play it, I pity how devoid of fun your life must be.
