Title: PopCap/Square Enix team up: Gyromancer
Post by: idolminds on Thursday, September 24, 2009, 10:23:51 AM
Neato! (http://www.gamerbytes.com/2009/09/tgs_09_popcap_and_square_enix.php)

Its like Puzzle Quest, but with some insane level of polish and art. It'll be on XBLA and PC.

Looks cool, hopefully it comes out to PS3, but if it doesn't I wouldn't mind playing it on PC.

Sweet! I liked the original Puzzle Quest but I hated PQ Galactrix.

This looks like it's built around the gameplay of Bejeweled Twist, where you rotate instead of swap. It takes a bit of getting used to but it's fun.

The art and style look amazing!

This thread got me into checking the Popcap site after a long absence.  Twist does take a lot of getting used to, and I'm not a big fan of Bejeweled to begin with.  Zuma's Revenge, though, is a lot of fun, like the original.

Wonder how they'll release the PC version.

Well, its out. Sadly it looks like the PC version requires Steam since I haven't seen it anywhere else, and no mentions of it going anywhere else.

Bummer.
