I read that the other day, very interesting. I haven't had a game have a hold over me like that since Quake 2 CTF.

What's sort of scary is that I can see parts of me in that article during my WoW days.  Luckily I managed to pull out before it got really out of control.  And I had similar situations with my then girlfriend.  It took me breaking up with her to snap myself out of that cycle and I haven't looked back since then.

Thank God.

Ditto.  I was like that with WoW for about a year or two... not to that extent but it was evident the on my downtime from work and sleep it would be WoW.  Luckily, I've quit and I have no intention of going back to that game ever again.

I act like that even when I don't have an MMO to play.

I don't really feel the need to read it, but I've never really obsessed over a game that hard.  I love gaming in general, but I don't spend all my time doing it and never have, either with a specific game or with multiple games.

Interesting, and I like how he doesn't blame it on Everquest, especially considering he was missing car payments MONTHS before he started playing it, but I don't think I'll personally ever look at addictions like "Internet Addiction" or "Everquest Addiction" with nearly as much gravity as actual, physical addictions.

I dunno, gpw. Your addiction with a certain video game (http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/bigboxshots/9/933069_75634_front.jpg) is, quite frankly, starting to get out of control.

Fuck you for judging me.

You ran off to play it again, didn't you? I'm surprised you took the time to type a response. How many times have you beaten the game now? Disgusting.

I don't care how much you write "gregg + hanna 4ever" on your arm, it will never happen. We all know how she ran off with Cools so that she could go to his sexy parties.
