I've though about posting this for a couple days, but Ghandi's work pushed me forward. It is partially inspired by the personality thread and, of course, some good old fashion chips and salsa.
In any case, this is an important question. Which portion of the snack exist for the other?

This seems appropriate. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HusokNYOPSY)

Salsa for the chips, obviously. I mean, salsa is a completely viable part of the human diet, but it cannot exist on it's own. You do not chug straight salsa. (ok, I don't... usually.) Salsa is added to various other foods to enhance them.
Chips on the other hand, can be consumed solo.
-
I usually consume tortillas on their own. Salsa and other dips are a luxury.
-
Word. And if the salsa has cilantro in it, it shouldn't exist at all.
-
I prefer hummus myself. That too requires chips, but not the other way around.
-
Ooh, now you're talkin'. Hummus is awesome.

Sandy and I are addicted to this stuff:

I'm salivating just thinking about it.

Without the chips, salsa is just...salsa.

It's what makes the world go 'round!
On Wednesday, when I go to the Tex-Mex dinner I will conduct a thorough study of the nacho vs the salsa vs the queso!
