News to me too. Never heard something like that was even possible. The causes that he mentioned don't even seem plausible.

He could rhyme, but not talk? Maybe that's why rhyming is a symptom of schizophrenia. ("It's all poetry in my head," said a disorganized schizophrenic person I met on the street once.)

Wow, I remember I lost my speech when I was in grade 9 due to a severe case of laryngitis. I could just barely whisper, but I could make any vocal sounds from my throat. It lasted for about 10 days or so. It didn't bother me too much coz I could always emote with my face and hands :P
Man, am I schizophrenic? I seem to inadvertently rhyme a lot, and in my head!

Well, he kind of cured himself. So thats good.
