Title: What I need
Post by: gpw11 on Sunday, December 13, 2009, 05:23:34 PM
is a program to download webpages. Now, I know I can do it very easily manually but I need to download one of the online lesson stacks from one of my classes before I get locked out, and there's literally hundreds of pages in there.  Anyone know of a program that could maybe act as a bot/spider and just download the fuck out of every link on there into a nice folder I could browse when necessary?

I've used a program called WTTrack or something like that to do what you are talking about.  I think there is a Firefox plugin that does the same thing.

In addition, Free Download Manager allows you to: adjust traffic usage; to organize and schedule downloads; download video from video sites; download whole web sites with HTML Spider . . .

The one I was referring to was actually called WinHTTTrack and the Firefox add-on is called SpiderZilla.
