I've had my PSP for about 10 days now and I've had my eye on Metal Gear Ac!d for some time now, so I got it. After beating it tonight I have to say that this game was simply amazing. I've never been a big card battle enthusiast and I've only dabbled in the Metal Gear series (played some of Metal Gear Solid and some of the GBC game) so I wasn't put off by the new style.
There were somethings about the game that I didn't like: I didn't like the lack of colors (fixed in the sequel), I didn't like the lack of voice acting and I didn't like losing your turn when your movement triggers a movie. However, other than that I thought the game was definitely something that shouldn't be missed. I can't wait to play the sequel.

Yeah... I didn't stick with it, but it was pretty damned good. I enjoyed what I played of it quite a bit.

Hated it. And I'm a huge Metal Gear geek.

I suck at card games, so when I heard this was gonna be a card game it turned me off. I am still curious about it and would like to give it a chance but there's no demo or anything.

It's not really a card game. It's a turn-based tactical game that uses some shuffling card stuff.

I just wish there was a demo to ee if it's a game I'd actually enjoy playing. I was just on PSN earlier looking around, thinking perhaps I missed it, but nothing. On the plus side the English demo of MGS Peacewalker is available. So is the demo of LBP.

There isn't a demo, but if any of you have custom firmware I can direct you to a small download where you can "sample" the game.
