I heard about those capsules a few years ago in the businessman context the author mentioned. I suppose it was only a matter of time before they became cheap homes for the poor.

A sad story. Unfortunately that's how it is over there... expensive as hell. Not an easy place to make a go of it.

But seriously, this is pretty depressing. In our great world of prosperity, in one of the most developed countries, the middle class live in tubes. Thats fucked up.
