An essay specifically. I think I'm going to write about violence in video games and how there is no evidence to support the claim that it desensitizes people and makes them violent. I was just wondering if anyone might have bookmarked a good article about it that I might use for research. Or knew of a good site or article I may check out.

I'd concentrate on getting the word 'paper' right first. ... oh come on, I had to. I remember seeing some stuff here and there, but nothing specific comes to mind. K-man has some experience with this stuff, I think. I'm posting from my cell anyway, so I can't really look anything up. Maybe I can find something later on.

Yeah, I remember someone here mentioning that they did some research on it. I actually wrote a paper a number of years back on the subject, but it was for an intro course, so most of it was probably bullshit.

Hahah. Yep, I'm gonna write a peper...
I found a couple articles, but nothing to write home about. Man, I should have started this earlier in the week. Fucking hate essays. I'm not a good fluff writer, and my papers end up being about a 1000 words too short...

I'm writing one on net neutrality right now. They're kind of fun to write but an absolute bitch at the same time.
Do you have any restrictions on the sources you use? For the most part, I'm not allowed to use any websites. All of my sources have come from the university databases and the various journals that they hold. If you have access to anything like that you'll be golden.

No restrictions. Just has to be a slightly current subject.
I found this. just starting to read through it now.

I just did a quick search and found a bunch of articles from some psychology and media journals. Some of them are available in pdf format so if you have trouble finding more I can pass those along to you.
I didn't actually read any of them to see if they went along with the point you were arguing or not though.
-
Sure. I'd like to take a look at them. Anything would be useful.

I'll send some stuff to the e-mail address in your profile shortly.

Cool. Thanks man. I appreciate it.

Articles sent. Hopefully some of them are useful to you. I copy and pasted without reading too much so let me know if I skipped any bibliography information you might need.
