Hooray! My mom went with her friend to an expo where they had a drawing to win a Wii. My moms friend won, so I'm buying it off her for $150. Today I went out and picked up some games. Madworld and Pikmin (with the new Wii controls) were $10 each, and then I grabbed Shiren the Wanderer for $40 (because its Atlus and I didn't want to miss out). Also grabbed a cheap 4GB SD card in case I need it for whatever.
So...hooray!

Cool.

The first thing you want to do is offload the intro video channel to the SD card. Frees up a ton of system memory. Good deal. Congrats.

Video channel? What is that? I haven't noticed anything like that before.

I forget what it's called. Sandy got 2 Wiis this past Christmas, and they both had it. It's an introduction video, or setup video, or the like. It takes up a large portion of the non-volatile "system memory", where channels, saves and other downloads go. It says you can delete it after viewing, but I preferred to move it to an SD card instead. That's where I stored the 5-6 downloadable demos too. Those are no longer available, unfortunately.
