Nintendo Summit Trailer (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/nintendo-media-super-mario/62271?type=flv)
It still looks very much like the original Mario Galaxy, but this time there's Yoshi and a few different tools and power ups. It looks really good though, and that music just brings back memories, even though the original is only 2 years old. The original is truly a great game.

GameTrailers gives it a 9.7. (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/review-super-mario/100404)
IGN gives it a perfect 10. (http://wii.ign.com/articles/109/1091239p1.html)
Gamespot gives it a perfect 10 (http://www.gamespot.com/wii/action/supermariogalaxy2/review.html?tag=topslot;img;1)
Looks good, but it appears there is nearly zero interest in the game here.

Wow, that's an amazing track record! Kinda makes me wish I had a Wii.
-
Im interested, but I dont have the first one yet.
-
My interest isn't zero. My chance of getting it soon is.
Edit: I read those 2 reviews, plus Giantbomb's, who also gave the game a perfect score. 97% aggregate score so far at Metacritic (http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/wii/supermariogalaxy2).

I've seen the IGN video review, and my interest is still zero. Perhaps I have to play the game to get it, but it just didn't look fun.
I have to say, I bought Supermario Sunshine for the gamecube, and was so disappointed. That was a very boring affair. Cobra, I think you've played the first Galaxy. How would you compare that to Sunshine.
-
Galaxy is much better than Sunshine. SMS - as much as I hate to say it - sucked. SMG is pretty easy though. I have 92 stars and only the 92nd one was tough for me.

I'm in the minority here. I liked SMS. Galaxy is definitely the better game regardless. Did you ever play Mario 64? That's the root of all 3D Mario games, really. If you like that concept, you'll like Galaxy, and probably Galaxy 2, from the reviews I'm reading.
