What a disappointing album...you hardly even get to hear Damon at all. It feels more like an album FEATURING Gorillaz and not one of their own at all. There's a few decent songs on there but not enough to make it a good album and some of the choices on the guest artists were bad. This makes just want to listen to their first two albums and forget this one.

I didn't like it as much either, but damn I love Empire Ants. That shit is awesome.

I love "Broken." I do wish there were more 2D solo cuts here. I wish in songs he had guests, he was actually singing in the songs w/ others - instead of letting others just basically ride whatever production he came up with.
Though, I gotta' admit - 2D laying out of the Snoop track worked. Snoop's Intro to the album is dope. Best he's sounded in a while.
As cool as "Sweepstakes" starts off, Mos Def just keep spitting the same chorus and verse over and over - and this repetition goes on for around 5:20, as the beat continues to take off awesomely in wild new directions as he's just going repetitiously. Around 2 or 3 mins in, Mos could've just....stopped and let the beat go - that or just spit a different verse entirely.
"Glitter Freeze" is another one that seems like it just goes on too long for its own good.
Oh - Bobby Womack rocks. Nuff said.

I like empire ants, but I really really like, some kind of nature. Mostly because it's Lou Reed...Love me some Lou Reed.

I like those two tracks, as well - especially Empire Ants.
