I went into the hardware panel, and saw the USB stuff with a little yellow mark on it. I figured what the hell, right click...chose "Update Driver"....now they work. I swore I tried that before with no luck. And why the fuck couldnt windows figure that out on its own?
So yeah...expect more pics that have been stranded on my digital. Train museum! Woah!

Heh. That reminds me of problem I had last time I reformated my computer. For days I spent hours fiddling with things trying to get them to work only to try the driver update in the hardware window. Same exact thing, I swore that was the first thing I did when I noticed the problem. Go fig.

I swear that MS builds something into Windows that tells it to start destructing about 4-5 years after release. That way they have an easier time selling the new version.
Honestly though, the problems I have been having on mine and Jennie's computer were things that were cured by Windows XP a few years ago. I don't know if the constant stream of updates introduced some bugs or corruption or what.
