You know what's hilarious? Jennie doesn't believe in dinosaurs. I'm not kidding.
I have gotten on her several times about this. When I point out they have fucking bones and full skeletons, she just says all animals are made of bones and people probably just put various ones together in various ways to create the different dinosaurs. When I ask her about the skulls, she doesn't have much to say that refutes them but stands firm about how she doesn't believe dinosaurs were real.
I'm seriously not kidding.

Yea I've never heard of someone thinking along those lines. A person who can find faith in the existence of god without any hard evidence, yet not believe that dinosaurs existed despite all the evidence.
Also, I did like the article. It also made me wonder when humanity's time would come, and if we would have any real impact in history of existence, or if our fossils would be dug up some day...

I think with all we have done to the planet, it wouldn't be hard for any future sentient race to find a lot of evidence of us should we be wiped out. In fact they would probably live in our empty cities for a good portion of their beginnings.
I hope the birds take over next.

Imagine my surprise when she first told me about it. The only way I can accept it is to act like she's just kidding about it in one of the most unfunny and longest-running jokes ever and that someday she'll finally say something like, "Psych!"

I believe dinosaurs existed just not necessarily the way we imagine them. There have been quite a few cases in which bones have been rearranged (repeatedly) based on new findings.
Some dinosaurs (technically) still exist: crocodiles, alligators, Komodo dragons, certain iguanas, and various giant reptiles.

There is a guy at work, a jehovah's witness, and crazy. He's absolutely obsessed with religion. I've actually been in various arguments with him, and he doesn't believe in Dinosaurs. I'm not sure that is part of their faith or not. I got into an argument with him about evolution last week...I think he is thinking of killing me.

People who believe the Bible is literally true don't believe in dinosaurs or evolution, or that the world is older than a few thousand years for that matter. As long as they don't take over the government (like other countries that are dominated by strict religion) they can believe whatever they want. Stay away from my kids' schools too.

Really, I have no idea why someone would not want to believe in dinosaurs; the world is that much cooler that they existed. If someone found good evidence of fire breathing dragons or griffins I'm pretty sure my reaction would be along the lines of "fuck yeah."

That is completely false, Cobra. Most Christians believe the Bible specifically refers to dinosaurs in parts of the text, even.

I understand that bones can be mis-arranged, but how do you explain the giant t-rex skull? Maybe the t-rex as we know it didnt exist, but theres still a huge skull that came from something.
What is the link between religion and dinosaur disbelief? I thought the super-religious believed that man and dinosaurs co-existed because every animal was created at the same time. Then, throughout time species became extinct.

Haha. My girlfriend thinks immunizations cause retardation. This has caused me to avoid any serious conversations with her because I don't want to know what other stupid shit she might believe. Also, we will never have kids together because I don't want them dying of measles or cholera.

I believe that immunizations are a big factor in autism. All those synthetic chemicals arent good for a developing body. Plus, the chance of getting measles or cholera arent what they used to be.
