Awesome article.  Since I began living on my own again, I'm eating really healthy.  Almost no frozen foods, mostly fresh, and 60% vegetables with the rest being the usual starch and protein, and a little fruit.  I've lost almost 20 pounds since I started exercising and such again, but now that I'm eating a lot better, the effect has increased dramatically.

To be fair, British food is complete garbage and their problem is most likely due to globalization and the higher rate of import of food worth fucking eating.

Eating properly makes exercise and working out vastly more effective.  For most people, it's not a case of eating properly or exercising, you kinda gotta do both.  That's not even calorie restriction, it's a matter of WHAT you eat rather than how much.
