A succession of troublesome events here at Sandy's.  First she got sick, then she got backstabbed by a friend, which sent her into a an overnight crying jag, then her mom had some medical issues, and we eventually took her to the hospital.  That took most of today, after all of yesterday was spent taking care of the old lady.  *Phew*  I need a break.

Damn, that's a lot to deal with in a few days. You should come over here and kick back - drink a beer and enjoy the snow. :)

Uh oh.  That sounds like the most serious reason for absence so far.

Ghandi, no way man.  You can keep all of your snow.  I'm done with that shit for as long as I can manage.   :P

heh, no - i haven't been in any kind of education for ten years now.

i recently started my own home IT support business. doesn't make me much, but it's so much better than working for somebody else. i also do some part time work as the IT guy for a charity that helps people with debts, legal troubles, etc. finally i teach old people how to use computers - that's unpaid charity work, but it drums me up quite a bit of actual business and i enjoy it.

Company firewall blocks this site and all message boards unless it's work related, so I can't come here until after work... and after sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours I don't feel like spending the evening in front of my computer.
