I really want the PS3 to succeed, so this is disappointing:

Possibly the biggest PS3 game in years, and the systems are extremely short.

I realize it's completely possible for my town to be the exception, especially being a small hick town, but I just got back from Walmart and they were stocked full on PS3s. They actually had less Xbox 360 systems. I didn't notice the Wii stock (though they're supposed to be in short supply too).

Sony changed the contractors for the PS3, and that seems to be part of the problem. They are switching to the 2010 models, and seemed to have planned less than ideally.
edit:
I read this on some hardware site six months ago actually. Not sure if it is completely true, but the fact that it was predicted that long ago makes me believe it.
