I heard they were going to make new episodes.  Is that what you're referring to?  I seriously miss that show.  I don't even get any channels that show reruns now.

Yes, they are going to air soon. I'd like to say within the next few months. Someone should research this.

On June 9, 2009, producing studio 20th Century Fox announced that Comedy Central had picked up the show for 26 new half-hour episodes scheduled to begin airing on June 24, 2010 at 10:00 PM

Ah, Wikipedia. Do you ever disappoint?

EDIT: Damn it, Ghandi! You beat me to the punch!

According to IGN TV News the first new episode is due on June 24th, 2010 on Comedy Central

Quote
The wait is almost over, Futurama fans, as new episodes of the series are set to begin airing this summer. An announcement on the official Futurama Facebook page revealed the month we'll be seeing the return of Fry, Leela, Bender and the rest of the gang, stating, "Heads up, Futurama fans! All new episodes of Futurama begin this June on Comedy Central!" According to HitFix, Comedy Central says the premiere for the first new episode will be Thursday, June 24 at 10:00 p.m.

I've been keeping an eye on this for a while. If you haven't already, check out the 4 straight-to-DVD movies:

    * Bender's Big Score
    * The Beast with a Billion Backs
    * Bender's Game
    * Into the Wild Green Yonder

Some were better than others.

I believe the original plan was that each of the movies would be divided into 4 episodes and aired across a 16-episode 6th season. However, I think that's no longer the case and the episodes airing late June will be all-new.

Let's hope this is better than Family Guy's comeback.

Amen. Family Guy's best seasons are still the first three. After that it's hit or miss. Season 8 has been pretty 'bleh' throughout.

Yea I saw some of season 2 again, and it is still good. I don't know wtf happened.

Plus, why the hell is Seth McFarlane doing three animated shows now. Seriously, what an idiot. Why not concentrate on making one funny show, instead of spreading ideas thin.

Probably the cash-cash-cashitty-cash.

Right now he basically has 3 crap shows instead of one great show.

I have...mixed feelings. I can't help but think it's much worse than it probably is.

Did you mean it's probably not as bad as the impressions from the clip lead you to believe, or the reverse?  Looks like Futurama to me.  Where it goes from that minute and a half remains to be seen.  I'm definitely going to be checking out the new episodes.

The reverse. I worry that whenever I watch a new episode, I'll be too critical and keep comparing it to the old Futurama, even if the new episodes are just as good. Although I suppose if the episodes are good and suck me in, I'll stop comparing and looking for things gone wrong. A 90 second clip doesn't give you that chance.

I'm even more anxious about it! I'll watch some classic episodes to hold me off.
