God help me, the things I do for my wife.

2.5 hours of my life I will never see again.  All spent on some weird indulgence-fest.  No substance at all.

I mean, I actually semi-enjoyed the HBO show back in the day, but this was nothing but what seemed like a fortnight of shallowness.

I would absolutely refuse. I would download it for her, and burn it and she could watch it at home. Or she could go with her friends or something. F that.

I made the mistake of escorting my sister to Evita many years ago. Two hours I'm never gonna get back but lesson learned: never go to shit like that.

Anyway, regarding this movie.. It's supposedly set in Abu Dhabi! Which is kinda odd considering both movies are banned there! They wouldn't even allow them to shoot it there, they had to do it in Morocco! haha

I absolutely loved the TV series, as it was quite edgy and different than anything on TV when it came out...

...but God, that first Sex And The City Movie was just TOO Hollywood-ish, TOO long, and TOO bloated for its own good. Seriously, why do I need 2 and a half hours of these girls in one sitting?  :o

I really thought the TV series ended on the perfect note - so really, why are we getting these movies? Oh, right - it's time to milk the series into being the new box-office cash-cow.

Anyway, yeah you could never get me to watch this in a million years.  Sure, I watched it on HBO a couple of times when it was on, but I was young and there was a good chance of seeing some boobs.

There were actually two scenes in the movie that featured this one chick's boobs, you know, to perk people like me up.

But the cruel joke was that in the end she ended up being a lesbian.
