Dungeon Siege 3 - Retail Boxes = $39.99 on PS3 or X360; $29.99 on PC.
OLD:
This is basically gonna be the OW Thread to post...
killer deals, price-drops, or any good prices for games that anybody can find on Amazon.
-
I had a thread w/ stuff on sale on Amazon once.
Well, I'm gonna keep this thread updated if I see some good stuff on sale on Amazon.
-
Borderlands PC and Bioshock 2 PC each are $9.99 on Amazon.
Nice deal. :)
-
Just today? I would like both of these games.
-
If you have a Target store nearby, you might want to stop in. I saw both of these games on the clearance rack for roughly the same price. And that was a week ago so they might be even cheaper now.
-
Just today? I would like both of these games.
No clue - if it's a price-drop, temporary price sale, or what.
I saw it on CAG (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=273308), these were listed. Thought I'd share, since both of these games I think are EASILY worth that kind of cheap $.
-
Certain games are 15% off w/ GAMESAVE promo code.
Check link in first post.
-
Amazon.com -> I don't think it's just games and all - probably all kinds of stuff, as well...
But I will note that Countdown To Black Friday Sales begin on Amazon as soon as tomorrow for Every Friday until Black Friday. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/forum/cd/discussion.html/ref=cm_cd_gb_ef_tft_tp?tag=cheapassgam08-20&cdForum=Fx20DX5GEB7TUX8&cdThread=Tx3RRDJJZDHAURK)

Good on the Xbox (http://www.amazon.com/Enslaved-Odyssey-West-Xbox-360/dp/B00319DX4W/ref=pd_ts_zgc_vg_14220271_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&pf_rd_p=475985811&pf_rd_s=right-4&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=14220161&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=07C7HPSDS66JCW8DS89W) too. Very tempting, yes.

URRGGGGGGGGG.... I wish I had the money to spare.
EDIT: Actually I do, I just didn't want to spend myself down again on more games.
EDIT2: oshit, I just remembered that I got a $20 game credit with Black Ops. Wooo, Enslaved for $5!
EDIT3: Or not. Amazon is dicking around with my $20 credit. I just got off the phone and they said they didn't see the $20 credit on my account and would forward it to whatever department and I'd get an email in the next 24 hours. Last time they told me that I never got the email.
-
So I finally figured out how to get phone tech support from Amazon. In the last week I've been on the phone with them 4 times about 2 different issues, and only once did I get some sort of resolution.
Here's what you do:
1) Use the help section of the website and find the "have us call you" thing. You put in your info and choose your order #, and then click "call me". This will connect you with a call center in India, and you'll get nothing done. (I understood what they were saying fine, but they either couldn't understand me, or just seemed clueless overall.) Nothing against Indian people, but there can be a language barrier if the person on the other end doesn't fully understand English.
2) Get an email asking if your issue was resolved. Click no, put in some feedback, and click the thing at the bottom that says, "give us another chance, have us call you again." When I did this, I got someone who was either American, or had spoken English for so long that he tricked me into thinking he was. I told him what the issue was, he understood, he fixed it, we were done.
Another reason I think he was American, was because of the way that system is setup. Why would they try to get you back on the phone with a tech support that didn't help? Just hoping that the second rep can? No, it's probably a fallback in case a call to the Indian call center wasn't sufficient.
In other news, yes, I got Enslaved for $5. That's a fucking steal.
-
Unreal. I'm jealous. Post some impressions after you've had a chance to play.
-
I think you still called India

Yea same here. I am going to wait for those year end Steam sales. Not in a hurry at all for a rush job.
