I love that picture as well.  I have a poster of the Hubble Deep Field picture shown on the bottom of that picture.

Well, if true, it might have went supernova around 600 years ago...we are just now seeing it.

Yeah, that's a great book (and audiobook too!).  Probably have read through it twice now.
