I don't know what's wrong with you people. I thought it was freakin' sweet

X3 is a good movie on its own. But when compared to its predecessors, it pales in comparison. I also really hated how X3 just started killing off characters with complete disregard.
Yeah, that bugged me too. But I think some of the assumed 'deaths' were just that: assumptions.
We all know that Scott Summers (Cyclops) doesn't die. All the movie showed us was his visor, and he was missing. I would imagine this would be a potential set up for X4, as a device to add some depth to Emma Frost (if she's introduced).
Yeah, that bugged me too. But I think some of the assumed 'deaths' were just that: assumptions.
I also noticed that they mentioned the thing about Professor X being able to transfer consciousness from one body to another. The only other thing in the movie that perplexed me was that Angel's part in the movie was pointless
All in all I'd place it at about the same level as the first one, but not nearly as good as the second.
I just saw it and my hate for Brett Ratner grows. I hate that asshole.
Yea a lot of it was fairly cool, and I agree with Xessive on the first death. I think it was deliberately confusing.
Also I am pretty sure the 'cure' will be something they later determined was temporary.
But yea while the second death moved me at first, I quickly grew upset. Why the fuck did Brett Ratner have Xavier killed? Was there any point? Stupid directors who don't seem to want to respect the source material. It was almost as bad as The Joker dying in Batman heh. Also when Wolverine got close to Jean at the end, why didn't he just inject her with the cure? Nonsense.
Oh and I found this on Wikipedia regarding Xavier's death which is interesting. Where the hell did they get that from?
After his death, he transfers his essence into his comatose twin brother, committing himself to another nebulous moral front
What? Yes he has a comatose twin brother in the comics, but there was no indication of anything being transfered
hahahahah I just saw past the end credits!!! If you have the DVD I suggest you do so now or read the following spoilers...
So Charles IS ALIVE! Looks like wikipedia was right:
After his death, he transfers his essence into his comatose twin brother, committing himself to another nebulous moral front
I would blame Ratner for the death of Xavier, I doubt he had anything to do with it, though I could be wrong since I havent watched any development on it. But I would think it was the writers decisions.
