It's all funky!
-
I just spent 5 minutes playing with it. Damn you, Google.
-
What a groovy way to peg my CPU.

Funky, I had to load google.co.uk to check because every time I try google.com it loads the localized version (google.ae) which has nothing special going on. Speaking of which, is there any way to prevent Google from loading the localized page and language?
I've been sending feedback to Google asking them to add a language selection option after you run a search (Bing and Yahoo do it). As it is, I have to select English from the drop-down on the main Google page, otherwise it runs all searches in Arabic (or Russian if I'm routing through a Russian VPN) making the search bar in Firefox pretty much useless.

Google just introduced Google Instant (http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/09/08/google-speeds-queries-with-instant-results/?hp). Go to Google to try it. Basically it guesses what you are gonna type and instantly shows the results. It's much more seamless that I though it would be, I like it.

That's much quicker than I thought it would be. Good going Google.

Man, I bet thats really cool if you're not on dialup.
-
LOLz. Google toolbar only for you.
-
Actually just typing anything into my Firefox URL bar and hitting enter does a google search.
"Instant" is less instant when its trying to run searches after every keystroke...before its completed the search for the last one. It just bogs itself down. At least I can disable it. But it still seems pretty neat if I wasn't trapped in hell.

Here's a video from Life Hacker: Google vs Google Instant (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wx0UNFtwWg0&feature=player_embedded#!)
