Neato! (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/09/30/ubisofts-upcoming-psn-games-beyond-good-evil-hd-scott-pilgrim-dlc-and-more/)
Also talks about From Dust, Outland, and Scott Pilgrim $DLC. But hey, HD BG&E with improved textures sounds like it would be worth checking out.

That's awesome about BG&E HD for PSN.
Is it coming to XBL?
I'd love to see that come to the PC, of course.
Any word on BG&E2?
-
It was the Playstation blog, so they won't tell you about other platforms. Gotta wait and see for other sites to pick up on it.
-
according to joystiq, it's coming to xbla too.

I can't recall if I finished the Beyond Good and Evil. I think I got fairly far into the game though. It was awesome for the most part. I think I might pick this one up when it comes out.

Definitely nabbing this one the first opportunity. Never did get around to playing it. Noice.

I so hope BG&E HD sells well... (http://www.destructoid.com/ubisoft-keep-the-faith-for-beyond-good-evil-2-194963.phtml?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Destructoid+%28Destructoid%29&utm_content=FaceBook)
Despite announcing Beyond Good & Evil 2 three years ago, Ubisoft seems intent on backtracking and bargaining, almost as if it wants to get out of delivering what was promised. BG&E HD producer Wang Xu is the latest to contribute to the sage, telling fans not to give up hope.
"Keep the faith," he stated, before jokingly adding, "... Please buy Beyond Good & Evil HD if you want more BG&E games."
He added that he "didn't know" if Ubisoft was seriously using Beyond Good & Evil HD as a test to see if a market for the sequel exists. One could be pretty sure, however, that if the digital version doesn't sell, then we won't get Beyond Good & Evil 2.
We need BG&E HD to sell well.
And we need BG&E2, dammit.

I tried the demo for this today. I couldn't get into it. For one thing, the horizontal camera movement is locked backward. (Push left to look right.) I can get used to that when the game is special enough (like Zelda) but I have no past history with BG&E, and it seems awfully primitive. (How old is the original?) I can tell from the short demo that there is a lot of depth here. It must have been a great game in its day.

Beyond Good & Evil - OST released. (http://www.destructoid.com/beyond-good-evil-soundtrack-up-for-free-download-195965.phtml?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Destructoid+%28Destructoid%29&utm_content=FaceBook)

Yes. I downloaded that yesterday. There's some good music in there, and a lot of music.

Just played the HD version. God this game is profoundly beautiful. Technical graphics are one thing but the art and the animation are truly brilliant.
In terms of a sequel they really can't do BG&E any justice without having a fantastic story to back the gorgeous visuals the fans will expect of it.
